Choose the Office That Holds It
New Mexico arrests are recorded by different agencies, and the correct office depends on where the arrest happened and where the person is held now. Use the official county or state route that matches the record type:
- For a county booking, roster, or photo request, choose the county in the County Directory and contact its sheriff or detention records custodian.
- For a booking record or photo request at either level, see the home page’s record and IPRA request steps.
- For a state-prison or probation/parole profile, use the NMCD Offender Search; the page does not cover city or county detention.
- For a public case number or court disposition, use New Mexico Courts Case Lookup or contact the clerk that holds the file.
- For federal prison or immigration custody, use the BOP locator or ICE locator. BOP does not provide public booking photos.
