Privacy Notice

This notice explains what information New Mexico Busted Mugshots receives, how it is used, and when it may be shared. By using the site, you accept these practices. Search tools and outside services may handle information under their own privacy terms.

Information You Send

Search terms

A name, location, or other entry typed into a search box is sent to the third-party provider that runs that tool. New Mexico Busted Mugshots does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.

Messages

If you send an email or a contact form, the message and reply address are used to respond. They are not shared outside the organization unless law requires it or a service provider needs them to deliver the message.

Technical Data and Cookies

Each page request may produce routine technical details used to serve the site and review its performance:

  • IP address and browser type or version
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages viewed and time spent on each page
  • Referring site, when supplied
  • Date and time stamps

Cookies

Cookies help measure how visitors use the site. Browser settings can block or clear them, though some features may then work differently.

How Information Is Used

Information is used for basic operation and upkeep, including:

  • Keeping pages available and responsive
  • Sending search requests to the selected partner
  • Seeing which pages people use
  • Finding and correcting site errors
  • Displaying advertising

Outside Websites

Links may lead to county rosters, sheriff and corrections pages, New Mexico public portals, county sites, or search providers. Once you leave this site, the destination’s privacy policy and data practices apply. Review them before entering personal information.

Advertising partners may use their own systems to measure activity across sites or select ads. Those practices are controlled by the partners, not by New Mexico Busted Mugshots.

Who May Receive Information

We do not sell personal information. In the ordinary course, information may be handled by the following parties:

  • Search partners that receive a query
  • Analytics services that measure site use
  • Advertising networks that serve ads
  • Law enforcement or a government body when a valid legal order requires disclosure

Security Practices

Reasonable safeguards are used to protect information. No internet-connected system can be promised fully secure, and no site can guarantee that a breach will never occur.

Visitors Under 18

This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor sent information, ask us through the contact page to remove it.

Your Information Choices

You may ask about personal information you sent directly to the site. Available requests include:

  • A copy of information held from a direct message
  • Correction of information that is inaccurate
  • Deletion of a message or contact detail where appropriate
  • Opt-out from certain processing, where available

These requests do not change records held by a New Mexico public body. The New Mexico Department of Justice IPRA guide explains the Inspection of Public Records Act, NMSA 1978 §§14-2-1 through 14-2-12. Use the office that holds the official record; this notice does not change an agency’s duties.
